HOPE AND GLORY
(on-going)

Starting in 2014, ‘Hope and Glory’ explores varied customs, traditional events, competitions, championships and celebrations that take place in England.

From the Druid Spring Equinox, Punch and Judy festivals to Tiddlywink and custard throwing championships, the main aim at the centre of the project is to document the lesser known and often over-looked happenings of the English, although major celebrations and events will be included.

The title of this work is derived from one of the unofficial songs that is often used as the English National Anthem, 'Land of Hope And Glory.'
