Hope and Glory explores a variety of customs, traditional events, competitions, championships, hobbies, pastimes, celebrations and all manner of leisurely pursuits that take place in England.

From war reenactments to the Druid Spring Equinox, Punch and Judy festivals to Tiddlywink and custard pie throwing championships, the main aim at the centre of the project is to document a broad range of activities of the English whilst including some lesser known and often over-looked happenings that take place.

The title of this work is derived from one of the unofficial songs that is often used as the English National Anthem, 'Land of Hope And Glory.'
