Photographed over a four-year period, MILK is a project that explores the importance of religion for the Kolowska family and the daily life on their farm in Topolka, a small town in the heartland of agricultural Poland. The project focuses mainly on four generations of women that own and see to the operations on the farm and how Catholic faith is woven into their daily lives. After milk production came to an end in 2013 due to the low prices they were getting for it, and thus having to rid themselves of the majority of their livestock, the Kolowska family began rotating their fields, growing anything from corn to onions amongst other produce.

At the end of various country roads, statues of St. Mary can often be found. These statues are erected and in place for those that can no longer travel to a church and are seen as a blessing upon the land.

You cause the grass to grow for the livestock and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earth” - Psalm 104:14
